Default Naming of greyhounds

I've just had my prefix/suffix registered this month, due to someone 'stealing' my prefix/suffix recently!

For many years I've always used the Bluesky prefix/suffix, didn't bother to register it as the more my Bluesky dogs raced, the more people were aware it was my breed. Plus, who else would want to name their dog something like bluesky?? Maybe Blue Sky, but not bluesky.

But recently, I noticed there's a dog racing and winning in Victoria called Bluesky Dreaming.

What?? Bluesky??? It's so obvious that the owner has copied from one of my dogs that raced recently (bluesky megan, also blue sky libby, and I have a forum site called bluesky farm forum)

Now I am just curious as to why the owner would use the bluesky prefix/suffix to name his/her dog? Must really like the name a lot, huh? lol

Well after this month I won't be so worried about people taking my kennel prefix/suffix ;-) it was worth laying out a bit of money to register the name for 5 years, as it's kinda a sentimental special name which I would hate anybody else outside of my family to use.

Just like Ted Doss with his Osti breed, the Wheelers with their Bale breed etc etc
