I thought that Carnival Boy was one of the litter and also Jet Cruiser but Bogenfel was an extra one of which I had heard but did not realise he was part of the litter. Carnival Boy, if my recollection is correct, ran a track record at Dapto in a maiden. It was a heat of a very big maiden race at Dapto. I was definitely there for the final but I am sure Carnival Boy did not win it. The winner was another Pringle dog, Tokyo something??? I think. The Pringles, they had such fast dogs. I remember my then brother-in-law who had extremely good connections at Mudgee, telling me about what were thought to be "flyers" trialling in the low 25s at Mudgee but that the Pringle greyhounds like Monkey Jill would come across and run unbelievable time, clearly under 25 (24.8?). They certainly put another perspective on what was a fast greyhound.
